HURRAAAAAYYYYYYY!!! That is one gorgeous sock and I am so happy for you. Go forth and conquer the eye of the partridge heel. I better go and wind up my Lenore!
WOOT! Awesome job and gorgeous yarn! Congrats babe! Can't wait to see the finished pair. Can't help you with the eye of partridge heel, but I know you can do it. :D
eye of partridge is only my *favourite* heel of all time - you've gotta try it next! I used it on my Sugar Shack socks (you can check them out at Ravelry!)
Wow! This is really your first sock? I'm impressed, absolutely! If I remember my first sock - arrgh, what a disaster this was! Yours looks absolutely perfect - and what a beautiful colorway too! Yay!
The campfire sock look absoloutely fabulous, I love the pretty colours, I never tried eye of the partridge heel, but looking at the pattern that Debi sent you, it sounds like a fab one to try, wonder if by slipping the stitches in that way makes the heel stronger, it always the heel that wears out first isn't it?

Yay Madge! The sock is a beauty! Well done!
Eye of Partridge:
Row 1 S1, k1 to end
Row 2: purl
Row 3: K1, s1 to end
You alternate the slip stitches every other row so it looks like a checkerboard
Voila!
Congratulations! The sock looks great!
:)
