Time Out

I didn't even want to mention it here, but I had surgery on Monday. It went well, and I'm fine, just recuperating slower than I'd hoped. Sleeping lots from the meds, yadda yadda. I hope to be back up to full knitting and blogging speed soon.

In the meantime, you might find it funny to know that as I was coming out of the general anaesthesia I was dreaming that I was in the biggest, best yarn store in the universe. There was lots of cashmere. It was great.

Happy knitting, everyone. Talk to you soon.

Oh - I'm so sorry to hear that you had to have surgery - but then again, it's great that you're recuperating so well, and hey, what an amazing way to come out of the anaesthesia - can there be a more perfect way for that, actually? ;)
I hope you'll be feeling great again very, very soon - all the best to you!

I kept thinking about that throughout the day and would get a smile. So sorry your yarn high was interrupted.

Cashmere dreams! Nice! I'm glad, glad that you're feeling chipper enough to post. Remember not to try to get back up and moving too quickly, OK? LMK if you need a chauffeur.

Oh no!
Bad news about the surgery :(
But I gotta say...the idea of heaven being a giant cashmere-stuffed yarn store is...hilarious
silver linings, huh?

The bad part of that is waking up to find you're in a chilly ol' recovery room, and not in a glorious yarn store! Hmm... now here's a thought, wonder how a yarn-store ambience would work for a bedroom? Guess we'll have to ask Seattle Marie cause it looks as if that's what she's doing!
