My Next Project

Melanie is hosting a contest for some of her yummy hand-dyed yarn. She wants to see either 1) your first finished project, or 2) the next project you're going to do. I'm going with option two. I'll be making Pick Up Sticks felted Triangle Purse in this girly pink/red combo.

I'll omit the little circles and add a vintage brooch. Some choices from my collection:

So, what's your next project going to be?

Were your ears burning last night. Mary Jo and I were talking about you....in a very positive way, of course!

Looks like fun!

Thanks for your comments on my Monkey socks (They are indeed my 2nd and 3rd socks -- I still haven't made a match for my first sock yet), and don't worry, your socks are wonderful, too!

Bug and Moana very much appreciate the *scritches* you sent them!!

The large daisy in the upper right is perfect for your bag!

CUTE, CUTE!! I love this little bag. I think I have it queued in Ravelry. What a great idea to use a vintage brooch. I like the big pink daisy, or the cluster of pink daisy the best. Can't wait to see it.

I love the bag (even though I like my pattern better - heh!) and all of those brooches. I think you should rotate your brooches based on how you're feeling each morning. Funny thing is, I just returned my unused skein of Black Water Abbey for another in the butter color to make a noni bag. It was a toss up between the noni boho bag or my pick up sticks pattern. We must have felting on the mind. How weather appropriate.

Love those brooches! Very cool. I like them all, but I'm particularly fond of the red ones. I agree with Mary, you should rotate them depending on your mood. My next project will hopefully be a pair of socks. Although I hesitate to start anything new right now, since I have so many UFOs.

Wonderful collection of brooches! I think I need to get mine out--all my old HS and college and early-working-years stuff is now "vintage" instead of just old. Kind of like my house is now "period" instead of just "outdated." Hey, does that mean I'm a classic now too??

I just love felted bags and the colours you've chosen are fab!

I'm about to start Monkey socks for my next small project using Walking On The Wild Tide. I tried Grasshoppers but didn't fancy lace socks. At least I tried.......
